Kurt J. Valenta Born overseas and having grown up in four different countries, Kurt speaks English, French, Spanish and German
Education – graduated as a Mechanical Engineering Technologist from Ryerson Polytechnical Institute, Toronto, Ont. Level I & II Industrial Radiographer from Kodak MEC, Rochester NY Industrial Drafting Level I & II from Aviron Technical Institute, Montreal. PQ. and obtained his Masters in Education from Union University in 2013.
Work history includes overseas stints for Hitatchi in Japan, Deutsche Edelstahlwerke now Thyssen in Germany and upper management positions for Vestshell Inc. & Vestshell Vt. Inc precision investment casting foundries, Canusa Hershman Recycling Co. a paper and plastic recycler and Simport Inc., a plastic labware distributor.
Taught French to K-8 classes at Pathways Academy, a private elementary school in St.Albans Bay, VT
Former Volunteer Classroom Instructor – Vermont Institute of Natural Science – ELF Program for Elementary School Students at St. Albans City School and St.Albans Town School

Founder & President of Exordium a nature and outdoor education organization providing outdoor learning experiences for the young and young-at-heart, he is also offers Professional Development for teachers through Castleton University and for Childcare providers through Northern Lights.
He now makes his home with his wife and 3 daughters, in Northern Vermont. An older son is a world-travelling Bikram Yoga instructor.
